Spanish 1
Thursdays 9am-10am
starts September 16 to November 16 for 10 classes

A stress-free introduction for those with no familiariy or recent exposure to the Spanish language. Emphasis will be on developing functional and useful conversation skills, greeting people, shopping, dining out and travel. The textbook will be “Saludos.”
Instructor: Bob Dalury who has lived in Latin America and is State certified.

Conversational Spanish,
Wednesdays 10:00am - 11:00am
starts September 15 for 10 classes

For those with an understanding of Spanish tenses, can carry on a conversation and need to improve their fluency. Conversations will cover a broad range of topics taken from current newspapers, CNN, BBC (en espanol) and short stories. The class will be entirely in Spanish. Grammar will generally be covered when students need clarification.
