Included in the area are some of the weathiest cities in the world, adjoining communities with enormous poverty and significant social problems. The Academic Lecture Series will tackle these contradictions, hoping to find answers to the extremes by exploring local initiatives, religious and political restraints, and diplomatic dilemmas.
