This course is designed for players who know the basics but want to improve their judgment in real-life auctions—the kind that don't appear in beginner textbooks. Each lesson emphasizes practical decision-making rather than memorizing rules. You'll learn how to evaluate your hand, understand the auction, and make better competitive decisions that lead to better scores.

• Takeout doubles

• Negative doubles

• Responsive doubles

• Balancing

• Overcalls and advancing overcalls

• Preemptive bidding and defending against preempts

• Cue bids

• When to compete for the partscore

• Sacrifices and bidding judgment

• Knowing when enough is enough!
