Grief, Loss and Love: The Path Forward
Life doesn’t always prepare us for loss, or teach us how to help someone we love through it. How do we show up for a grieving friend, navigate life after loss with confidence, and support others while caring for ourselves? Join us for an informative and heartfelt presentation and workshop offering practical guidance for navigating difficult times with greater understanding and compassion.
Certified Grief Coach Andrea McDonough will explore the different forms of grief, their impact on our bodies, minds, and emotions, and what to say—and what not to say—to someone who is grieving. Michelle McKinnon, CFP, will share a practical financial checklist to help women prepare for life’s unexpected challenges. Colleen McCrink Margiloff will share her personal grief journey and the effects on her friendships and family relationships, along with insights on how to be there for a friend who is grieving.
